Just in case anyone is interested in hearing the "other" side of George 
Irvine, purchase a copy of the audiocassette tape from the session on 
DPVs for the Tek94 (yes, 94) meeting. There is more information packed 
into that tape than in any other Tek meeting session I have ever sat 
through.  I first heard the tape long before George ever subscribed to 
techdiver, and thought to myself "God, this guy REALLY knows what he's 
talking about. And he's so polite, too" (I'm NOT kidding).  When Goerge 
first joined the list, I thought he was a total asshole (and, of course, 
he was).  When I got to know him through private mail, my respect grew.  
When I finally figured out he was the guy who did the DPV session, my 
respect SKYROCKETED.  Check it out.  AquaCorps Magazine should still have 
them in stock. Tape T4.

George, if you didn't want this made public, I apologize.  But I'm 
serious, that tape contains the most intelligent discourse on diving I 
have ever heard (and I don't even care about DPVs).  Ever since, I have 
tried to emulate your presentation style when giving talks.
