I called Bill Mee, as he is a good friend and former student, after his posting blasting IANTD, according to what Bill stated to me: 1. he wrote a private non IANTD directed e mail and someone (I imagine George Strokes Irvin ) added the first paragraph and several other references to IANTD then posted it. 2. Bill was certified in cave by tom mount also in tech eanx and trimix. 3. After being certified in the above Bill quit diving to 270 on air and started using mix, maybe IANTD had a favorable influence on him 4. It was long after that before George discontinued his practice of hot EANx mixes and hot trimixes remember george your 25% o2 sneak mix to 270+ 5. Orginally george attacked IANTD for being weenies who were to conservative on nitrox and depth, guess he most have seen the light and is now the apostle thank god this is my closest approach to an response to arguements. I do think IANTd has had a positive effect on the safety issues of tech diving.Even among george and many of his associates. I also thought George had made an agreement with several of us to discontinue this bash bash yell and scream childish behaviour. oh well anyway as Bill (William) Mee told me to adress his letter and how it wound up on the net in a modified fashion I have done so and will retreat to only definning IANTD stances you be the judge of it's pros and cons and decide for yourself. again tech po2's redline at 1.5 ata. operational diving is 1.4 ata. the 170 in tech eanx is not an ean x dive it uses eanx mixtures for deco and is used in tracking of cns % accumulation etc. Safediving to all of you, Tom Mount
