I've seen more than one valve galvanically attach itself to an AL80. At least one manufacturer recommends that the valve be removed and lubed every six months with (Dow 777? - not O2 safe, anyway) and reinstalled to prevent galvanic corrosion in worst case service. Technical diving has different requirements, of course. Nick Simicich - njs@sc*.em*.ne* - (last choice) njs@bc*.vn*.ib*.co* http://scifi.emi.net/njs.html -- Stop by and Light Up The World!
