Yeah, me too.. there is a crater here in hawaii much the same, with an

anaerobic mixture of water and large amounts of sulfer dixoide (is that

right rich), 780' deep.  we have always wanted to dive it but didn't want

to mess up the eco system nor end up smelling like rotten eggs..
