I originally posted a comment, intended to be humorous, in response to george�s insulting response to a discussion on light bulbs. The post was implying that he must be a bit uptight (major understatement) to get so worked up over such a subject. He then sent me an insulting post and then attacked the same discussion, hitting a new low, with profanity and insults. I have seen a lot of this from him and have gotten tired of his offensive nonsense, so I made the point that he is an uptight, offensive, arrogant loudmouth. So far, everyone of his responses has only served to confirm this. I should have expected this, since it�s common knowledge that such arrogance is a manifestation of extreme insecurity. This is understandable, considering that the other tech divers that he claims to associate with, get a lot of media attention in the dive mag�s, and no one pays attention to him. George, I can�t say why those other divers *do* talk with you, perhaps they find you amusing. But I will do you a favor. If I ever hear of a dive magazine that is doing a write up on �diver ego�, I will submit your name. You would make a good case study. Since this bout started, we have learned that he was so confused, that he was insulting the wrong person, on the wrong subject. (isn�t that how he would define a �stroke�?) It would seem that his only goal is to be offensive, rather than trying to contribute something intelligent to the list. Someone made the point a while back, during his last public flame fest, that the �neighborhood� has gone down hill since he signed on. I agree. I think it is ironic that he would be so insulting and critical towards others, considering that due to his grammatical errors, typographical errors, and offensive attitude, his Signal to Noise Ratio isn�t very good. I have been on this list for almost a year, and have read a lot of interesting and educational material, none of which was from george. We have had discussions on this list before regarding what is acceptable content, like the one on advertising. I would like to see others opinions on the subject of offensive, insulting post. It seems to me that they only degrade the list, by inhibiting others from contributing, because of concern for being insulted for asking �dumb� questions, or giving input that george does not agree with. Anyone else, (who isn�t intimidated by george�s flames) want to comment on this? As for me, I apologize if this thread had annoyed anyone, and I will strive, in the future, to keep the flames off-line. goerge, your insulting post only serve to validate my point, Your insults are the invalid, unintelligent babblings of a weak mind. You have demonstrated yourself to be nothing more then an aquatic troglodyte. To put things in terms you *can* understand, I will succumb for only a moment, to paraphrase from one of your flames on chris. �Stay home, with your log book in one hand, and your �you- know-what� in the other, and enjoy yourself� If you want you discuss this off line, I am more then willing. In fact, to help you from getting so confused in the future, I will type slow. If you have difficulty with the big words (more then four letters), get someone to help you with a dictionary.
