Storm turned out to be minor, though we had moments of apprehension.

Certainly you're right in many cases (at all levels of instruction).
Fortunately in this scenario rebreather instructors will also have to go
through a rebreather diver course where some of these attitudes can be
addressed (for the first time?).-Dave
