I'm enjoying this thread a lot because it's a topic I hadn't previously
given much thought to.  I'd like to know what people think of the ethics
of forwarding a message posted on techdiver to someone who is not a
subscriber to techdiver (assuming that techdiver remains open to
subscription by anyone with an email address).  If you think it would be
unethical, would it be unethical to tell a non-subscriber how to access
the techdiver archives?  What about telling a non-subscriber how to subscribe?

These are honest questions - I'm not trying to mock anyone or anything.

I understand the context-sensative argument, and I largely agree.  My
solution has always been to compose my ramblings in such a way that the
only way to misrepresent what I say is to either out and out misquote, or
quote out of the context of my own message.
