George, Agree wholeheartedly with your comment about IT cards for rebreathers, but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world (otherwise all good caves & wrecks would be based just out of Sydney, Australia!!). If there is to be a set standard & instructors for rebreathers then we need instructor trainers (specifically if you 6,000 miles from the manufacturers). The level of skills between an IT for a recreational (say90ft) unit & a tek unit (are there any on the market?) must be vast, let's hope the manufacturers have the balls to lay the law down to the agencies (& I have an interest in this as well as many others). As to your comment "I will also say that when I can get a breather that I can get farther with than my tanks that has reliable parts so that I can concentrate on the mission instead of the equipment (like I can do now), I will buy it and use it..."......What about the CIS Lunar? Iwould also be interested in getting your view on the OCEANIC. Thanks regards Richard T ---------------------------- Diver: Do Not Bend ----------------------------
