The maker of my big dive light told me that according to the manufacturer (Sanyo?), the NiCad batteries he uses in the light do not develop a memory. Thus, he says, I do not have to worry about fully discharging the light before charging it again, unlike lights with older NiCads. Hardware engineers out there - have NiCad manufacturers in fact solved the problem of battery memory, or should I still worry about this? John jheimann@sc*.gt*.co*
