I just spent ten days in north Florida, having gotten an NSS-CDS full cave
cert., a profound appreciation of the beauty and mystery of caves, and a nasty
case of swimmers ear. 

So here's my question:  I have heard that by virtue of getting certified, I get
a free year's membership in NSS-CDS.  Is it also worthwhile to join NACD, or is
this redundant?  I would like to keep up with the community as much as possible.
