Wait a minute Rod.  Experience with hypoxia ought to be a requirement of
the course.  When I was with NASA, I was required to go through explosive
decompression training every 3 years to keep my flight status.  They blew
us up to 27,000 feet and made us play patty-cake with each other until
we got stupid just so we'd know what it felt like.  Don't you think this
is valuable for people using rebreathers too?
