Bill Pilicer asked for some information regarding preping a tank for O2 /EANx service...follow directions on simple green, boiling water, contaminants do glow under ultra violet, drain, forced heated air, use a q-tip to see if any crap is left. BUT>>>>> Bill, don't forget you gotta disassemble the valve and prep it too! Similar technique, use O2 compatible lub, Viton O-rings (or equiv.). Suggest you find someone locally who knows what they are doing, sit and watch them, do it a couple of times with them as coach. How often should a tank be cleaned....under ideal situation, when its VIPed... in real life, if you wanna be safe, couple of times a year, and certainly if you think it's been contaminated with <greasy air>.
