While we are talking about drysuit underwear and using polartec etc. I have often dove wearing a full length 3mm wetsuit as undies...sometimes with a polarfleeze jacket under a neoprene dry suit. It works well, but is a bitch on a warm day since you get into the water wet from perspiration...easy out is to wear polypro undies under the undies. The real advantage is walking out onto the deck of the charter boat and yanking people's chains when they ask you if you're gonna dive wet..."In that!?" Another advantage is it's great after a dive to float around in on the surface...enough thermal protection for swimming in these frozen northern waters above the thermocline....july to september only! And by the way, have not noticed great deal of difference in buoyancy...or chilling with decompression although it must be happening. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: steve.lewis@pr*.or* (Steve Lewis) This message lovingly processed in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, Canada by: PrimeTime BBS - (705)689-1757 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
