I'm not sure why EAN-27 would be a better gas at 160 feet than air, other
than perhaps some decompression advantages.  I'd be willing to bet (and
actually have some first-hand experience supporting this) that your
narcosis would be as severe if not *more* severe on EAN-27 at 160 feet
than air at 160 feet.
