That's consistent with what I learned from US Divers re: their
Conshelf series; that the O rings (and HP seat) need to replaced with
viton, but the original diaphragm can be used with oxygen. I don't
understand the difference, but if it works, great! As I indicated
before, I use an O2 cleaned conshelf with my O2, with viton o rings
and the new HP seat, and the original diaphragm. I haven't barbecued
myself, however I can't help but flinch when I turn that valve...

. The diaphragm is the same as in the standard non-O2 cyclon 300, and that
they
never had any problems with this diaphragm in the oxygen rebreather. They
won't
sell parts to the end user, especially no parts which are used in the
military
unit.
