Does anyone know if there exists a regulator which could be used to ventilate a non-breathing diver? It would seem that incorporating a ventilation feature into a second stage would require relatively few changes; just a mechanism to lock out the exhaust valve during purge, and pressure-limited purge. I could see this being built as a switch in the front cover (with a safety, of course). With many of us carrying O2 on dives, it would seem rather useful to have such a regulator on the O2 stage bottle; especially as the switch to O2 is not so urgent as to preclude double checking the purge switch. Does anyone make such a regulator? Would there be interest? -frank -- fhd@pa*.co* | If you are skating on thin ice, you might as well dance. 1 917 992 2248 | 1 718 746 7061 |
