OK your buddy could do this for you, but what about self reliance and diving solo? I've heard various comments about going upside down to slide the set up your back, but I have never been able to get near my cylinder valves. It was mainly the shoulder straps of my BC which prevented me getting my arms up.>> I do not know what setup you use but for what its worth, try some of the following: 1. Make sure the tank bands are as high up on the cylinders (valve up) to raise the valves. 2. Open your waist strap, but retain your crotch strap(watch for stuff sliding off your belt if not secured) so you can shift the valves up as you invert on your head. 3. Play with the location of isolator so it is pointing to the back of the top of your head OR the base of your neck. 4. Loosen your shoulder straps and tighten up slack with chest strap 5. Use one hand on the elbow of the arm and hand turning off the valves, to push it up. 6. Keep stretching with every dive. Hope this helps. Jonathan
