I once told a fellow cave diver that if he couldn't turn off his valves 
then I would decline to dive with him since he is carrying MY reserve gas 
for emergency use. I gues syou need to take a look at either your harness 
(if it's restricting your movement), the vertical position of your tanks 
or your flexibility. I can reach all three of my vales on trun them on or 
off quite rapidly. I do however dive with the crossover only on slightly. 
That way I can turn it off more rapidly. I routinely turn it off in very 
restrictive passages "just in case".
This info is true for both my Genesis 120s and Pressed Steel 104s. I 
stand 6'2".
