Lain Robertson;

Alsp look at American Underwater Lighting. A three hour burn time on 50W.
They can handle hundreds of feet in depth and make very good versatile light
heads. Very popular in Cave circles. These and the Dive Rites will get you
good dive times, no memory problems on charging, and fon't have to have
multiple batteries and wires (Ikelite) which is that more to go wrong and get
caught.

Hi.

I'm thinking of getting a more powerful lighting system. The three main
contenders seem to be (in no particular order):

     The Ikelite systems
     The Dive-Rite systems
     Custom Divers

     (all with 50W torches).

The Dive-Rite systems seem to be a bit bulky. I like the Ikelite ones
(neat, compact battery unit), but the 20 hour recharge time is a bit too
long for my liking. The Custom Divers system seems very nice - battery fits
into a 3l pony bag, and the whole kit looks to be very well made.

So..... does anyone have experience (good or bad) of these any of these
lights? Any recommendations?

                         Thanks,

                         Iain Robertson
