Then that's the way to approach it. Your previous note did evidence a 
chip. Style is just that, style. It shouldn't be confused with validity 
or efficacy.

In a beginning SCUBA class one would expect the instructor to be 
approachable, even nice. But at this level we should all be over that. 
Of course, if you dislike someone so much you can't learn from him, 
then it might just be your loss.
