There is a significant practical advantage in using 100% oxygen, in that 
no gas mixing or analysing is involved. The dive cylinder is simply 
refilled by decanting/ haskelling or whatever from a bulk oxygen supply. 
That same supply is a good source of large quantities of backup oxygen 
for thereputic (sp?) use if ever needed.

If using just one deco gas, especially if the 'bottom' gas is air, the 
avoidance of gas mixing eases the logistics of the diving significantly.

If using two or three deco gases, Eanx80 rather gives longer deco times, 
especially if the next 'stongest' deco gas is Eanx50 or Eanx60.
