Hey Scott,
I havnt finalized the costings just as yet, but I am
curious as to what would you consider a fair price per unit to be?,
including international shipping to the U.S.

Taking into account of course the quality of product, higher cost of
manufacturing and shipping..

Coincedentally my manufacturer here is also the originator and the only
producer of the Stainless Steel "Sea Spanner" ,of which I can offer to
supply you guys for an exceptional price of USD$50 per unit including
shipping...

http://www.bestmarineimports.com/Specialtools.html Check out this link for
a look...the price in Florida as you might expect is "unreal".

Kind Regards

  Paul,

The idea of having a three piece system is that the threaded
porion
sliding on the o-ring shaft, exerts no "screwing" force upon the mating
surfaces of the o-ring or the din sealing "bed".

This is understandable and I dare say desirable, but the force that is
exerted by hand-tightening a plug cannot amount to much.

With a one piece system, when the o-ring mates to the sealing surface
within
the DIN valve, this causes the o-ring to be repeatedly screwed in and
out
with the pressure of the sealing process (although minimal) this
theoretically could cause the o-ring to wear prematurely and even
possibly
    bind with excessive corrosion...

Are not o-rings visually inspected every time we pick them up. Remember
it is also theoretically possible to eat enough bad Mexican food that one
could flatulate (not really a correct word, but you get to point) hard
enough to lift off the ground.

"it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling"

Many warm fuzzy feelings are good things.

I was unsatisfied by the standard plastic items available within the
local
diving industry and therefore decided to do something about it and set a
new
precedent of quality ,whereas before there was none...

None where you had looked. I agree the plastic sucks, but this idea is
not original to you. Kudos for the initiative of running with your version
of it though.

I am just supplying the best product I can think of to do the job, as
down
here in NZ as we don't have the luxury of going to the local hardware
store...everything like needs to be custom made.

I suppose for most it will come down to cost and availability. What will
yours cost us and how long does it take to ship from NZ.
  Scott Hunsucker
