Go to an arts and crafts store and get one of those pencils
artists use to draw with.  They're a long, solid piece of lead.
You can sharpen and use it just like any ordinary pencil and if
it breaks, guess what, you can still write... it's solid lead.
They even fit perfectly in wetnotes' binding.
