We have had numerous problems because we are constantly pushing them to the limit. The worst was a prop coming off at 297' in depth and 2000 feet from the boat (funny how fast a fin in the prop will cause a problem). The other scooter brought us home safe and sound. We are satisfied with the equipment and especially the support and improvements. I don't think either Garry or myself are mentally deficient in selecting and testing dive gear and we don't lack the funds to buy the best. Now why do you suppose we are still using Gavins? I know someone is going to say we are just kissing George's ass. I am 58 and retired to Hawaii when I was 55. Garry is 62 and retired way back. We both work here for the fun of it and couldn't care less who is popular or even powerful in the diving world.
