How many of these condolence messages has Martin Parker put out now? ( See
below) If he
is attending the funerals, he probably has more frequent flier miles than
Bill Stone. Forget the fact that the Buddy Inspiration is a complete piece
of garbage with inherent design flaws. Let's talk about how stupid you guys
are here:

1) what kind of idiot teaches any dive course, including rebreather , while
himself using a rebreather of any kind?

ANSWER - one that does not understand rebreathers.

2) What kind of idiot thinks solo diving with a rebreather is a good idea?

ANSWER - one who does not understand rebreathers

3) What kind of idiots do the same thing over and over with rebreathers and
then wring their little hands in despair when the inevitable happens?

ANSWER - ones that do not understand rebreathers.

This week's Buddy fatality managed to both teach and then go off solo all in
one dive. You should read the account of this one for your "what's wrong
with this picture file", including the fact that this dead guy was "solo
certified", and a "solo" instructor. I am just glad this moron is the one
who bit it instead of the students, and to the dismay of all you morons, the
student who reported it ended the report with "never dive solo", so at least
this waste of human life at the hands of this piece of crap and the idiots
who promote it and solo diving did not include students, but as the student
pointed out, there are always victims in this, and only the stroke mentality
that seems to go with Buddy users can't grasp this. I'll send the student
account out next.

Sure, you guys don't see yourselves as complete idiots, you think I am the
idiot. You probably blame it on the piss poor weekend warrior training ( as
opposed to military training, for instance), but that is no excuse for
doing the same thing over and over and over again while expecting different
results. That is not called stupidity, that is called insanity. Stupidity
refers more to the fact that a high school physics student who never heard
of diving could tell you what is wrong with the Buddy, and that any person
on this planet who does not have their head up in the sand can tell you
that when something has the kind of track record of the Buddy and some of
the other miscarriages being sold out there, that you are dealing with
scumbags, liars and fools of gargantuan proportions.

Let me repeat what I said the first day I saw this piece of crap before
they even started selling it and there had not yet been any deaths or
accidents at all ( at least not admitted publicly), "The Buddy Inspiration
needs to be sold with a shovel".

Maybe one of you rocket scientists can tell me what is so important about
diving that you need to die for ? Does the high body count make the
survivors seem to be real tough guys ? Is that it? Do you guys then get to
swagger around on the dive boats and show everyone how fearless you are by
diving with a rattlesnake in your pocket? Does this put you on a higher
pecking order of "tech" diver? A higher "peckering" order maybe? What is so
hard to understand about the points made above that you geniuses just can
not seem to grasp? When are you people going to call bullshit on Martin
Parker and tell him to fix the problems and then tell Tom Mount to fix the
training?

Let me remind you guys that we banned Tom and his IANTD crew from ever
teaching the Halcyon RB 80, we do not allow any form of teaching while
using a rebreather of any kind, and we discourage solo diving of any kind.
Let me also remind you that after all of you tough guys have tried your
little hearts out to outgun the WKPP rebreather divers and the European
WKPP rebreather divers with these abortions, we continue to easily smoke
any and every cave we dive where your "best" fall flat on their faces. In
fact, even with a somewhat decent rb like the Cis Lunar ( still not the
right design, moot point as they are out of business anyway) , it took a
coalition of the "best" of you guys 90 days of following my line and map in
Wakulla to get to where Jarrod and I put the line on OPEN CIRCUIT , and to
where I expect any of my rb divers to be able to deliver scooters and
safety bottles in front of me in one dive in one day on any day. One would
think you would wake up to the reality and fix the problems, but I see you
still are totally baffled by the obvious.

Your way is not working - fix it.

Subject: Bobby Barrett

It is with deep sadness that I report the death of Bobby Barrett. He died
on
Saturday 3rd August whilst diving his Inspiration in a quarry in
Bainbridge,
Pennsylvania, USA.

We have only scant information at this time. He was on his 2nd dive of the
day, he was found in 42 feet of water, mouthpiece out.

The autopsy was held yesterday. Hopefully, information will be released
soon.

My condolences to Stephanie and family.
