"George" is not a rebreather manufacturer, and the Halcyon is as capable of killing anyone as any other rebreather. I take it very seriously. That is why I am not enough of a moron to dive solo, not enough of a moron to think teaching anything while on a rebreather is a good idea ( military has multiple safety protocols set up for training and true teamwork and buddy skills , unlike the "recreational" nonsense), and I am not enough of a moron to think that sensors and gauges are going to save me from a malfunction. There is nothing about DIR "equipment" that has anything to do with this discussion, and DIR equipment does little good in the hands of a stroke . The fact is that none of you can see the light here : there have been no rebreather diving deaths that were not solo or effectively solo, even with that piece Buddy Inspiration. You guys want to keep mourning the dead while promoting what kills them - you are the criminals here, you are the ones who do not have enough respect for the dead ( as you idiots like to call it) to stop the killings. Any rebreather can fail - figure out how to keep that from resulting in a death, and quit crying about me calling you all stupid, because stupid is what you all are. I can't tell you how many of the dead have battled with me and called me "stupid"; only to die doing what I said was stupid. You want me to put out the screaming idiotic emails from some of your dead to me so you can understand better what is so clear to me? Wake up - you guys are the problem, and the solution is very simple and has little to do with anything but common sense. The problem is that you people are being led around by the worst idiots in diving. Most of the rules I have in place for my organization, WKPP, are a result of failed practices of my predecessors that resulted in deaths. I don't need the number of deaths you guys have had in order to fix the problems. Keep complaining about me, keep being idiots, keep dying, or wake up. Is Martin Parker still waiting for the "autopsy results"? You people are sickeningly stupid. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
