Christian, the guy is full of shit. He is his usual resentful self here. He bought one of them from Jim Cobb who quit diving as did two other guys after Andrew's fundamentals class. If they were so bad, why did they stay in the team. The fact is the guys who did have any problems or questions immediately called me or emailed and I took care of it or told them what to do. These wreck scooters were the very first of their kind and I told these guy that and told them I would take care of any problems. You all know me, and now you can see that JT is as full of shit as it is possible to be about this. The dive issues we were discussing are being answered by resentful nonsense as usual. Two of the scooters have experimental motors. I told them I would not say which ones, they had to tell me what they thought worked best. They all had experimental reed switches. They all have normal mako clutches, which wear out if slipped and cost a whopping 5 bucks to replace. As soon as I got one up there they all wanted them, and they wanted them yesterday. As a result, I only pressure checked the rest, while the one Capt JT has I actually took out diving. One had the brushboard wired backwards, one had a cracked reed, the rest were more unfamiliarity issues. I told JT I would take care of him no matter how big of an ass he is at the time, and he never even wrote back. -----Original Message----- From: Christian Gerzner [mailto:christiang@in*.co*.au*] Sent: Monday, August 05, 2002 5:37 AM To: Capt JT Cc: George Irvine; techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Re: Cut to the chaseRE: VBTech vs. Nova Tech Capt JT wrote: > > All the 6 scooters but 2 have already been resold, I got Cobbs and it was > the only one that worked right from the start. Your response is irrational, to say the least. Some would call it considerably worse than that. I mean, did you suggest to these four, presumably dissatisfied, purchasers that they can get their money back just like that? Hello?
