You can try using extra bolts to find the correct height for your
balance, which may make it easier without loosening the band bolts. The
Scubapro bibo bolts may serve well for this.

However, the height best for balance might not be the best position to
reach your valves, namely if the bottles are hanging low.

Trimming with weight distribution may help here.

Any combination  may not necessarily apply as a general rule for people
with same dimensions.
Flexibility of your pectoral muscle will have a definite influence. This
can be trained within certain limits.

Length of crotchstrap  is important, too.
