(preface: this is not pointed at you, Jim, just posing
questions I find relevent)

I dont know, all I know is that Tysall, his buds and
PADI present him as an ex SEAL. Which is 100% untrue.
Since that is false (and that's a biggy!) it calls
into question other claims, such as the claim he is a
US Navy Diving Instructor. Hard to believe. SCUBA and
combat swimmer course are usually taught by guys who
do and have done the work. If he is so smart, and such
a together diver, how do we explain the DSAT CF and
his gear and gas choices?

He may be the nicest guy on earth, he shouldnt claim
to be a SEAL when he is not. To some of us, it is a
big deal.

As I said earlier, it doesnt really matter. 99% of
dives a SEAL does are insertion dives, at night, with
an O2 RB at less than 30FSW or so. Such experience has
nothing to do with technical, planned deco or
recreational diving.

Silverstein used come off pretty good too at first,
until the word got out...

Far out, more power to him.

Dont do it on the backs of men who earned their title,
and bury their brothers.

The SEAL guys are on it now, and they are going to
determine just how much other BS the guy is spouting
about the Navy credentials he claims, and give the
chance to answer for the discrepancies. At this point,
without a real compelling list of reasons why things
look fishy, he is a good candidate for the Wall of
Shame. One way or another, he has some explaining to
do.

Personally, I think it's insanity. What was the
purpose of the dive, other than to log 500 feet for
the resume' and piss off the surviving relatives?
