Same directions to get to it, just take the left just before the Snug Harbor entrance. The Canned Air is a 36' down Easter hull (Blue with white top) with a single diesel and with a full crew of divers (8 total - 6 divers plus mate & Capt.) loaded for a weekend we have made 26 knots and gone from the West breachway to the buoy at New Harbor, Block Island in 25 minutes. The boat has a good ladder, O2 hooka rig, and is beamy enough to stay out when others head in. One of the best things on the boat is how he had the gunnels made. Standard 80's will fit under the side gunnels with regulators attached and if you use the taller 120 size, they fit under the aft gunnel. This way you have the whole deck for moving around and the tanks are protected. The Capt. is Wayne Gordon and while he is not a full blown techie he is very willing to learn and always open to new ideas. He also does a 2 week trip each year around Cape Cod and has been going out to the blue water south east of the islands to some new wrecks in the 60-140' range. With very little encouragement we can have him DIR in about a week. I almost have him ready to go now. One final note on the Snug Harbor Marina - don't eat at the restaurant unless you have a cast iron gut or want to cum for sharks, its grease city.
