Hi Chris:

I agree that you are responsible for your own actions.  If you kill yourself
it is not the fault of the dive boat or anyone else.  It is the fault of
your own poor judgement or bad decisions.  Unfortunately, the attorneys
don't always see it that way, much like the lady that scalded her crotch
with hot coffee while driving and holding the cup between her legs and got a
million dollar settlement.

Because of the litigiousness of our society, in many instances you are
damned no matter what your decision so the right thing to do is go with your
conscience.
