I have PST 104's and love them. The boyancy characteristics are great, they hold a ton of gas, and they are just all round pretty sexy tanks. Fabers aren't hot dipped galvanized like PST and the finish doesn't seem to last as long. I also like my double 80's, although they are admittedly harder tanks to dive than my 104's. The trim just doesn't come quite as easily. ss On Mon, 5 Nov 2001, Jeff & Debbie Loftis wrote: > Rookie cave diver with tank selection questions. > > I'm looking for a good double rig for back gas. Looking at the standard set up of Pst 104's or OMS 112's. Most of all my diving will be fresh water & dry-suit. I like the buoyancy numbers of the 104's, and I don't know anything about Faber tanks, but I'm open for suggestions. > > Oh, if there are any more green cave/tech divers out there, don't waste your time with doubling aluminum 80's, they suck! > > Any recommendations/discussions would be appreciated. > > Yakoke > Jeff Loftis > > -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
