Just as you asked me not to send you personal mail, I've asked you not to
send it to me.  I assume you're not such a complete jerk that you think you
get to ignore my request while I am supposed to comply with yours, so I'll
respond to this on the list, where it belonged in the first place.

I believe I suggested you check with the source, at Brownies.  They sold the
light, they replaced the light and they provided the information.  Be sure
to express your opinion of their intelligence next time you stop in.  I'm
sure the'll appreciate it.  I didn't mention those on the boat, only that I
dive from some of the same boats.  Be sure an express your opinion of the
crew on Fish Food next time you're in as well.  I imagine they'll appreciate
it too.

For someone who is not interested in my opinion, you certainly spend quite a
bit of time addressing it.  If you want to be left out of discussions I have
with others, all you have to do is stay out of them.  It's as simple as
that.  I responded to someone with a problem with their light, just like you
did.  My advice was to take the light back to where it was purchased or to
the manufacturer.  Yours was to throw it away. I, and all except you who
have responded, seem to think that throwing away an $80 light leaves
something to be desired.  You're free to think otherwise if you like.
