As Paul said JJ's book is the place to start (didn't realise it was
available in PDF, still waiting from my print copy).  There is a couple of
other guides too (Tech and Cave, in PDF).  If you like there are some links
on my web site to some online resources (including live video streaming of
two of the DIR videos, and a few DIR sites around the world).
