Subject: RE: Another of your buddies?? FW: dive accident

Mike, you are beyond full of shit. The buddy will not work for our dives
because it is a piece of shit and any CCR will not work because the sensors
will not last long enough, even if I were stupid enough to want to use one
and play Star Trek instead of exploring cave or wreck. Even Joe Ditturi will
tell you that, or anyone who has tried using any of these devices. Anyone
who has taken high school physics will tell you what the problems are with
the Inspiration.

My rebreather requires no sensors, and I merely need to be sure it is adding
gas. I dive only with a dive buddy, and would not get in the water with a
rebreather without a dive buddy. I am not that stupid.

Reichart, and you , are just two bad examples. One of you has served as a
power of example with his big mouth arguing with me about solo diving and
then getting killed doing it, and you with your insistence on personal
freedom and that ridiculous description of your latest clusterfuck. That
outcome is precisely why I do not want to be on a boat with guys like you
and Richart.

I will call that boat guy up tomorrow and have Carmichael tell him what we
will and will not accept with our customers on his boat. How is that ? The
boat just got sold yesterday. by the way.

As far as diving with you, that is out of the question. I will only dive
with my own. I do not need some cop to "pay for my gas", and I do not want
to waste my time diving for the wreckage of your failed philosophy.

George,

Interesting you told the boat you would never dive there again. The
captain,
Mark, is a good friend of mine. The owners and managers are friends, and Ive
captained boats for them. They never mentioned it, nor did you mention it
to
me during the long discussion we had. Actually, I recall you saying
favorable things about the Inspiration, with the exception that the
breathing
resistance was too high for the long dives you do. That seems more than
fair.

Your track record is indeed impressive, and, as I already stated, no one
argues with that. The post is the facts as I knew them and I felt it was
the
right thing to do, even though I hate typing and responding to attacks at
this difficult time.

Everything I did was stupid? I attempted to find and assist a diver who
was not in my view for about a minute. Have you ever not looked directly at
you buddy for a minute or more? Solo diving is indeed an increased risk,
but
it is a personal decission. It is not against the law. Would you like to
see regulations on what you do?

My concern here has nothing to do with a debate on solo diving. I agree it
is an increased risk, as are rebreathers as you mentioned in another post.
They are inherently dangerous. It has to do with the sensless attacks you
make on the dead.

Your "enemies" are not enemies, they are only so in your mind. They are
humans and deserve to be treated as such.

As for time, I'd think you'd agree that mine is also valuable, I have very
little at this time due to the current circumstances. As for money, the
boat
is being provided free of charge, and Ill buy your helium and O2.

Warm regards, Mike
