Mike, what I did do is tell that boat I would never dive off of it again with an idiot diving solo on a Buddy, and if you want me to tell you that to your face I will be glad to do it. The story you put out is so stupid and so typical of what I call a stroke that I can not believe you even admitted to it. The last thing I will do is waste my time and money looking for that fat slob who slandered me and spent a great deal of time badmouthing me. Get Tom Mount to do it. He thinks diving solo on a Cis is a great idea. What is amazing about guys like you is that you learn nothing. Read your own account - it has every dumb thing possible in it that should never be done by anyone. Textbook what not to do. You and the rest can tell me I am wrong when you can put together my track record instead of the string of death reports that we are so accustomed to seeing from you guys. -----Original Message----- From: MICHAELPIZZIO@cs*.co* [mailto:MICHAELPIZZIO@cs*.co*] Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2001 1:19 AM To: trey@ne*.co*; jeverett@ne*.co*; quest@gu*.co*; FlTechDiver@mikey.net; wkpp@eg*.co*; techdiver@aquanaut.com; ajmurphy@sn*.ne*; aocfishman@ho*.co*; batesmotel@ea*.ne*; capttom@po*.co*; jchatterton@ho*.co*; chris@mi*.co*; joe@po*.co*; wcleary@pc*.ne*; trimix@ho*.co*; steve@co*.ne*; DEEPEXPL@ao*.co*; dive4kix@ha*.rr*.co*; Don@mi*.co*; pduffy@ox*.co*; garygentile@ms*.co*; heinerth@gt*.ne*; inspiration@dr*.ne*; SpannosDiver1@ao*.co*; john@en*.ne*; Kcdiversny@ao*.co*; mlavitt@av*.co*; ghmorris@te*.co*; mossman@te*.ne*; TOM.MOUNT@in*.at*.ne*; Steve@di*.co*; bgpartri@is*.ca*; deepreef@bi*.or*; rcicansky@un*.co*; rebreather-request@nw*.co*; RAKOHLER@ao*.co*; sfrank@pd*.ne*; Johnscha@ag*.co*; BillStone@co*.co*; brw@la*.go*; christina@ch*.co*; mzurl@be*.ne* Subject: Re: Another of your buddies?? FW: dive accident Hi George, we met last spring on the dive boat Fish Food, dont know if you recall. I really enjoyed our conversation then, however, I dont recall you calling me a stroke then. Then again, Ive heard you only do this sort of thing on the net. I posted to report the facts so people would know what happened. In that spirit, I had hoped that some small amount of decorum would be shown. Unfortunately, you appear happy a diver is dead. Moreover, you appear to want to see more death of divers. Total disregard for human life is what has given us our current situation in NY and in our capital. Apparently, you believe this will force people to see your point, just as Osma Bin Laden believes. Nothing could be further from the truth. No one questions the abilities and achievements of the WKPP. However, I must wonder exactly how your team feels about the clear instability you show to the world with your unsettling hatred of people you have never even met. I have been in some difficult situations in my life and keeping a cool head is important when things are tough. Do they wonder how you will respond when the chips are down? I find it hard to believe that someone so involved in a sport could celebrate the death of someone in that sport. Honestly, it makes me sick, and Im sure most everyone on this and other lists agree. I feel for you as a person and hope you seek the help you so clearly need. That said, since you reside so close to the accident sight, give me a call and offer some assistance in the recovery effort. I know you have done this before so I know you share my view that divers who dont surface at least deserve a chance at a proper burial. Even if you disagreed with Eric, his parents deserve a chance to put this to rest. I met them and they are wonderful people. They appreciate what we are trying to do, and they have asked me to convey that to all who are assisting. Besides, I cant be the first stroke you have dove with in your life, and, if I die on the Inspiration, you'll have more to celebrate.
