The air is not transported through the tubing.  It is used to form a channel
alongside the tube to allow air exchange between the suit and glove.  Problems
with constriction can occur with any itme placed under the seal.  the user
should control placement so it does not restrict circulation.  One major
advatage of using tubing is that the user can tie a knot in the end that
extends into the palm of the hand, if the glove seal is broken the tubing can
then be easily pulled out of the seal limiting the flooding to the glove only.
