Hello, Michael Walz: Suggestion for the latex dry gloves: Instead of a piece of tubing under the wrist seal, use a strip of open cell foam. The tube can close because of the wrist seal applying pressure. There are stories of the tube constricting blood circulation into the hands, too. The foam strip allows air to move in a nd out of the glove slowely; not so the tube. There are two mittens available for use with dry suits. One is by Viking with a three-finger design, the other by Nokia which is a true mitten. Neither is easy to don. Both can be modified by gluing the gauntlet from a latex glove in place of the hard rubber gauntlet that comes on the mitten. The Nokia mitten provides better dexterity than the Viking. The Viking mitten is more expensive. Stay warm, Bill Merrill Marathon, WI, USA mgardens@ao*.co*
