Subject: cardio routine

I've been adding 15-20 mins of seated bicycle over the last three months to my
cardio routine; this specific exercise is one of the best I've found to prepare
for swimming against a current or rip with scuba at the surface. Of course
there is technique involved as well. But I’ve personally noticed many divers
getting blown the fu*k away at the surface before the dive even gets started.
Being all pooped out at the start of a dive puts all kinds of variables into
the dive (both physiological and logistical) that more often are not part of
the dive plan in my most humble opinion. Nothing I'd care to be a part of.
