For those preferring a 7,65 mm Walther to a Colt 38, here is some conversion help. 1 psi = 0.06894757 bar Conversion factors * 6.894757e-02 / 1.450377e+01 So 170 psi equals 11,72 bar. Excerpts from english Poseidon Manual on Jetstream: 1. Connect the regulator to the test equipment. 2. Connect the test manometer hose to one of the low pressure outlets. 3. Open the LP valve (=20 bar). 4. Set the secondary pressure at 10 bar,...... snip 5. Close the LP valve, and open the HP valve (=200/300 bar). Purge intermittently with the purge button, check the tightness, and adjust the pressure to 8.5-9 bar. For Oceanair: 5. Close the LP valve, and open the HP valve (=200/300 bar). Purge intermittently with the purge button, check the tightness, and adjust the pressure to 8.5-9 bar. For Triton 5. Close the LP valve, and open the HP valve (=200/3OObar). Purge intermittently with the purge button, check the tightness, and adjust the pressure to 8,5-9 bar. Cyklon 300, technical data: Secondary pressure ...Max. 181 PSI / 12.5 bar So even more than you indicated. Excerpts from german manual: IPs Cyclon 300/ 5000old/ 5000new : 12/ 12/ 11 bar IPs Jetstream 300/ 5000old/ 5000new : 10.5/10.5/9 bar IP Triton ././ ./. / ./. : 9 bar You were advocating detuning regs to a lower IP permanently. I do not know of a reg where this would be easier than with a Poseidon first stage. However, this may affect performance. I may do some flow tests next time I'm on my test bench, with different IPs.
