Dive shops have the ability to choose which companies they buy from and what
products they sell. I do business with suppliers who produce or distribute
equipment that I have confidence in and I recommend products that I would
either use myself or that I think suits the diver who is buying it. I must
admit that I do, on occasion, sell less than optimal gear to someone who
insists on it - but only after I have recommended a better fit. No one is
not all-knowing and no one has all the answers, but I think there are plenty
of good shops who try to steer their customers in the right direction.

Safe diving,
Dale
