The "rebreather list" is a collection of people who sit around wringing
their hands over each death saying, "We just can not understand why our
brave comrade so and so was taken from us solo diving on his electronic
rebreather". It is a collection of the worst non diving pussies and
wannabees, manufacturers, rebreather instructors and other liars, blowhards,
bounce diving know it alls, and idiocy beyond the pale. There is not one
shred of reality on that list ever. Rebreathers are very simple devices -
they were around a long time before conventional scuba. The laws of physics
still have not changed, and neither has PT Barnum's law.

This list is not the place to learn about rebreathers. Check out the
rebreather list at:

http://www.nwdesigns.com/rebreathers/Default.htm

There is a link there to an excellent, moderated, mailing list and several
other good links on their website. Also, do a search with alta-vista et al
and you'll turn up a lot of sources.

Best regards,

Mark
