Ahem, As a representative of those with PhDs I resent the implication 
the Dr. Black has one without some evidence (and I really hope there 
isn't any). Sure he probably has an MD, but that REALLY isn't the same 
thing, trust me on this. To oversimplify horribly (and probably 
unneccesarily offend all the decent MDs out there) MD=good at long 
lists, PhD=innovative thinking, novel contribution to research field 
(does that sound like MJB, remember the contribution has to be peer 
reviewed and defended)

ER people = MD (usually) :)
