No, Mike, remember that Dr. Black is a Doctor, a Ph.D. Things like setting gradient factors are a breeze to someone as esteemed and knowledgeable as Dr. Black. I mean they don't hand out PhD's to just any shmoe who makes it through a mailorder medical program. I know, I am a regular viewer of ER. I am totally confident that he has a very scientific method for setting these variables and I, and the rest of TechDiver (now even rec.diver I hear), patiently await his answer to this question. Of course if he does not have an answer to this question this it could cast a poor light on his credibility insofar as medical acumen is concerned. Or even his overall intelligence. And this would be a sad thing as credibility is a key issue when running a medical practice. On the other hand I do know of several doctors who could not cut the mustard, so to speak, in the front lines of medical practice and now are now sales reps for various medical companies or working for trial lawyers as "professional witnesses" so I suppose Dr. Black could be employed in this capacity. One never knows for sure...
