Just as a thought. I read a post a little bit ago that called Mount and =
IANTD and others money hungry for offering classes. While I am not =
disagreeing because I am lookinh at haveing to pay for an advance class =
eventhough I am proficient in what I would learn from that class I still =
need to take it to move into some of the other classes I would like to =
take. I was diving with an x instructor this last weekend who confirmed =
that I would not benifit much from an advanced class and suggested that =
I would fair better to spend that money to improve my gear. Which I =
agree but back to the point. DIR I assume also charges for classes as =
well? So why would your opinion be different about DIR. A business =
cannot exist without profit. I am not trying to put any orginization =
down but it sounded like that post was as blind as the people they were =
talking about.

I learn a lot from this list and also weed through the BS and I know =
this is technical diving so promoting the sport falls by the way side in =
order to minimise risks. The people on this list already took the plunge =
into diving for the most part. So I can understand the bickering. =
However, because people make money for what they teach in my eyes is not =
a valid argument in and of it's self. Unless DIR is free then I =
apologise

Thom
