On the subject of cryogenic rebreathers... I am not sure that I would want to use a cryogenic rebreather; in particular, bursts of activity might not correlate with adsorbtion of CO2 well. However, if someone makes one, perhaps it is not as bad as I think. To solve the water problem, you need is a cold, but not frozen area with a wicking fabric on it to transfer water from the exhaust back to the inlet side. Obviously, you want the heat exchanger encased in good, probably vaccum insulation around the LOX boiloff area to maximize the the trapping of condensible gases. (If it is too good, you may have trouble with argox as the boiling point of argon is higher than O2 by about 10K.) I would love to see one of these, Peter David
