You decant them directly from a normal cylinder. The bag has 20lb lift and is not completely sealed, but self-sealed as you suggested. Thus you can still fill the bag if you were dumb enough not to fill the bottle. A 100ml bottle charged to 200bar will (of course) fully inflate the bag at 12m or so. From any reasonable depth the smallest botle will put a great enough volume to get the bag moving. If, for some reason, you wish to send the bag up from any great depth, you can still do it the old fashioned way(s). I have never met anyone who had a problem with the seams on the AP-Valves lift bags splitting or the overpressure valve failing. As a poster mentioned a month or so ago, it is very common in the UK, when the current isn't strong, for people not to come up a crowded shot line, but to deploy DSMBs. They do make the whole process of shooting DSMBs extremely quick and you can easily perform a second task at the same time.
