Bob: Get a Halcyon. I've tried the Carter and either the flapper valve in the bottom sticks, or the seams leak/burst. I got a Halcyon Super Marker which inflates off your BC hose (but has no swedge balls, so it detaches as soon as you let go). It inflates slower thank the Carter but not having a risk of entanglement with a second stage used as an inflator and giving you an unplanned ride to the surface well worth the tradeoff.
