I have not seen any post about the death of Steve Berman that I would in any way consider laughing. I can promise you that no one on this list takes any pleasure at all in his death. However, Steve was a cave instructor and well known to many. As an instructor he was very safety conscious and I am sure included accident analyses in his lectures. I doubt that he would object to the use of his own death in a cave as a lesson to those who follow. That to me seems to be the point of the comments and posts I have read.
