Harry & lists;

I elected to go with a trilam from Andy's Drysuits & Undies. I used to teach
for Andy when he owned a shop in the DC area in the mid 70's before he went
into business repairing/tailoring wetsuits (Whitehouse Industries),
importing Typhoon Drysuits (Thypoon Water Wares), designing and
manufacturing his own line of drysuit undergarment (Andy's Undies) and now
manufacturing his own line of drysuit (Andy's Drysuits & Undies). He
started with the manufacture of his own line of drysuit in 1995 and has now
discontinued the importation of Typhoon line and has expanded the line he
manufactures to 4 different fabric levels from a lightweight to a commercial
grade. I have about 90 dives (leak free) on a DS-3 (zipper across the chest)
and my son has about 60 dives on a DS-1 zipper across the shoulders. He also
has a diagonal zipper (DS-2) and a bib entry.

I've been using his US 140 undergarment and doing dives from 40 to 80
minutes this year in 42-46 (f) degree water and been quite comfortable both
with and without argon.

To look at his suits you can go to his website at
http://www.andysdrysuit.com/
but will need to find a dealer who handles his line as he doesn't sell
direct.

Dave Dalton
